1 16 oz. pkg. frozen mixed berries
¾ c. sugar
2 T. quick-cooking tapioca
2 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 ½ c. all-purpose flour
½ c. brown sugar, packed
2 ¼ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. nutmeg
¾ c. milk
⅓ c. butter, melted
First, mix frozen berries, sugar, lemon peel, and tapioca in slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl. Do not over mix. Drop by spoonfuls on top of berry mixture. Cover and cook four hours on low. Uncover and let set 30 minutes.
