Ingredients:
3 packages quick rise yeast
24 oz. cottage cheese
3 T. minced dried onion
3 tsp. salt
6 T. sugar
3 eggs
3 T. margarine
1 tsp. soda
7 c. unbleached flour
Preparation Instructions:
Dissolve: 3 packages of quick rise yeast in 3/4 cups lukewarm water.
Combine and warm: 24 oz. cottage cheese, 3 T. minced dried onion, 3 tsp. salt, 6 T. sugar, 3 eggs, 3 T. margarine and 1 tsp. soda.
Combine: yeast mixture and add 6-1/2 to 7 cups of unbleached flour.
Place all ingredients in large bowl and mix well. Dough will be somewhat sticky. Place in a large well-greased bowl and let rise until doubled. Don't punch down. Form buns (tennis ball size) and place on greased cookie sheets. Let rise until nearly double in size. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Note: Grease hands well when forming buns as dough is sticky.
