Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Electric Cooperative Youth Tour, scheduled for June 20-25, has been canceled.

Each year, high school students from across Minnesota and the nation travel to Washington, D.C, for the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. The tour is open to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Students on the Youth Tour participate in leadership training, engage in one-on-one conversations with elected officials, jumpstart their national peer network and tour the nation’s capital. The six-day, all-expense-paid tour helps students understand American government and its role in the history of rural electric cooperatives.

Details for the 2021 Youth Tour will be available in December 2020. For more information, call 1-800-254-7944, ext. 8031, or email desiree.cuda@ecemn.com.
