What is the biggest challenge facing ECE in the coming years?
Providing good service and good products at a reasonable cost.
Why do you want to serve as an ECE Director?
I'm very interested in fuel cell technology. In eighth grade science, I helped build a fuel cell model.

What strengths would you bring to the cooperative's Board of Directors?
I have managed two cooperatives in the East Central territory. I have served on the Mille Lacs Board of Commissioners for 15 years and have also been a self-employed tax preparer and accountant for 35 years. I have a deep appreciation for this area and the people who live here.
What is the biggest challenge facing ECE in the coming years?
The biggest challenge facing ECE will be to find new and innovative ways that will allow for continuation of cost-effective energy to its members.
Why do you want to serve as an ECE Director?
With an estimated $90 million budget, I believe my financial background will be an asset to ECE. Also, a good board consists of bringing different perspectives and backgrounds to the table, and I believe my experience and commitment can contribute to that model.
